Camp Goodtimes is excited to host a variety of free programs throughout the year to help reconnect campers and families or make an introduction to the camp community. 

Family Fun and Bonding

Family Fun and Bonding events (FABs) are single-day events that offer a chance to reconnect with old camp friends or be introduced to the Camp Goodtimes community.  Click the region you live in below to see if there are any upcoming events.

Bereaved Family Retreat

This is a weekend program for bereaved families to connect, relax and enjoy nature. This retreat will be open to any bereaved families that live in any region of BC or the Yukon. The weekend consists of recreational programming amidst the breathtaking beauty of UBC’s Loon Lake Lodge and Retreat Centre center just outside of Maple Ridge, BC. There are child activities that are typically designed for children aged 0-18, there are recreational programs specifically designed for parents, and family activities. There will be opportunity to relax, recharge, and connect as a family and with other families. In 2024, the dates are from Friday April 19 to Sunday, April 21.

Applications are open Feb 1 – Feb 29, 2024. Due to the nature of the program, there is a limited number of spots available.  Acceptances for the retreat will be based on priority and a waitlist will be put in place. Acceptances and waitlists will go out the first week of March.

Camp Goodtimes Nordic Ski Day with Whistler Adaptive

Date: January 20th

Time: 10:00am – 3:00pm

Join us for a day of Nordic Skiing and Snowshoeing in Whistler Olympic Park in coordination with Whistler Adaptive! This is an opportunity to try out these winter snow sports regardless of previous experience, and to do so with the helpful guidance and knowledge of the Whistler Adaptive coaches. This activity is recommended for those ages 4 and above. It is important to highlight that to participate in this program you will be responsible for your own travel to and from Whistler and that as per BC law, your vehicle must have winter or M+S tires to travel on Highway 99.

Registration will open from December 11 to January 12th.
