Program Assistance
There are 2 volunteers assigned to the role of Program Assistance (PAs) in each camp session with their main responsibility being to assist the Program Supervisor to set-up, clean-up, and facilitate the program activities. |

Responsibilities
- Assists with programming orientation, development, training and facilitation
- Serves as a resource for camp staff that directly affects programming
- Serve on the staff team, working to create a healthy camp environment to bring positive changes in behaviours, attitudes, and values
- Responds to general inquiries related to programming

Requirements
- Previous Camp Goodtimes experience
- Must be available to stay on-site for the duration of the session applied for
- Must attend the entire duration of our overnight Training Weekend at our site in Maple Ridge or successfully complete the Volunteer Distance Education Package (only if pre-approved by Volunteer Director, prior to acceptance)
- In ADDITION to attending training weekend, you must also attend a 7-hour supplemental training held in Vancouver
- Must be at least 19 years old by June 30th of the camp year you are applying to. Teen Program volunteers must be at least 22 years old by June 1 of the year you are applying to
- Obtain Standard First-Aid (renewed every 3 years) and CPR-C (renewed every year) certification and submit copies of them to our office by June 30th
- Have a Criminal Record Search performed (within one year of camp) and submitted to our office by June 30th
- Submit proof of having received 2 doses of the Measles Vaccination by June 30th
