Family Program

The Canadian Cancer Society's Camp Goodtimes Family Program is for families with children under 18. At Family Program, families can relax, play, and laugh together. Parents also have the opportunity to meet other parents and share experiences in a supportive group environment.

Families can try canoeing, kayaking, challenge themselves on the ropes courses and the outdoor climbing wall, and dance the night away at the big dance.

Medical support is available onsite, but parents are expected to provide regular treatment-related care to their children.

Family Program supports the immediate family of the child affected by cancer, accommodating for up to two guardians.

Details

Families sleep in family units in heated buildings. Most of the time, families are together and supervision is the responsibility of the parents or caregivers.

Health & Safety

Medical support is available onsite 24 hours a day, but parents are expected to provide regular treatment-related care to their children.
