We are all unique individuals. Each one of us has a story to tell. Each story is important. The Exploration Project is a chance to come together in a group setting to explore self and celebrate personal experiences. The goal of the Exploration Project is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment where we can share our experiences and be present to support each other. Activities will focus on self reflection, self empowerment, accountability and finding tools to help cope with living each moment to its fullest.
The program is open to youth who are 18-20 years of age and have had cancer, are siblings of those who have or have had cancer or who are bereaved siblings.
The Exploration Project will run on the following dates in the summer of 2017:
EXP session # 1 - Healthy and Active Living / July 16 - 19
Try new recreation activities, increase your knowledge, and gain overall movement skills for health and fitness. Practice activities such as yoga, swimming, cycling, paddling, running, or dance and explore ways to stay active year round
